MotorWeb is turning 4 and celebrating its birthday in style with the release of its latest innovations built to further simplify vehicle trading.
"We have always aimed to provide our customers with simplest of ways to retrieve vehicle information and perform transactions, while ensuring the highest levels of accuracy." says Chris Knight, Managing Director of MotorWeb.
After conducting usability studies and evaluating feedback from customers, MotorWeb has restructured its internal workings and built a totally new vehicle centric system.
The new system makes it even easier for users to complete tasks and provides a clear summary of the vehicle's current status and history within their business. Because everything revolves around the vehicle and not the transaction, now anyone can instantly see what transactions are yet to be performed, thus minimising the chances of something being missed.
Gary Cockram Ltd has used the new MotorWeb site for the last month. All persons using it have found it to be much easier to use compared to the earlier version. The vehicle home page has clear & concise instructions that are easy to follow & it is very simple to see what checks have been done by any other sales or admin staff.
It makes life much easier for those of us that are technically challenged.

With only a few clicks of the mouse you can complete SIN windowcards, ownership transfers and PPSR security registrations using data directly from the Government registries. Now legal compliance and protection is a simple and accurate process.
A powerful new search facility lets you search for vehicles you have worked with in the past - these might be due for an upgrade and could be turned into buyers. Or, you can search for a specific type of vehicle for an eagerly awaiting customer - this is an excellent way to find leads and vehicles amongst your existing MotorWeb information.
The new system addresses the issues when personalised plates are moved from one vehicle to another, and vehicles returning to the dealership as trade-ins.
The enhancements have also increased the operational speed of the system, and set the stage for more new services due in early 2005.
To top it all off, MotorWeb has just received a 'Highly Commended' award from the Westpac Hi -Tech Awards 2004 - a nice birthday present!
